The school was established by GYAN SAGAR EDUCATIONAL & CHARITABLE SOCIETY on 01 April 1994 by renowned & educationists. It is a Co-educational Senior Secondary School under the new system of education known as 10+2 pattern from Pre-School onwards. It is run on Public School verse and imparts quality education with emphasis on physical , intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of the children who are the trustees of the Nation’s future. The school follows the N.C.E.R.T. syllabus.The school has a grand four-storeyed building with open and airy rooms, activity halls and fully equipped labs. There is a spacious and attractive reception with proper arrangement for visitors to address their queries. The School has hygienic, well-maintained canteen where palatable eatables are provided to the students.

Libary

The library is the heart of soul of an institution. The school has a well stocked library which caters to all the bonafide students of the school. There is a large number of books, reference books, encyclopedias etc. To keep the students posted with current affairs many newspapers magazines and journals are subscribed regularly. To inculcate love for reading the students of all classes are taken to library in the library period. The library is a storehouse of knowledge. New interesting facts are put so that children are abreast of the latest in all field of education. They learn to be in discipline which will help them in future. Science plays a vital role in the development of scientific temper amongst the students. The school has separate labs for PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY. The labs are well equipped with the latest instruments and material necessary for making learning an interesting experience for the students

Medical Care

Students are provided with medical care whenever they need. Not only this, the school provides for comprehensive health care and wellbeing of children throughout the year. Every student is medically examined thoroughly once in a year by well-qualified doctors. In addition to this they are guided about proper maintenance of health and hygiene at home as well as in school.

Parents - Teacher Meetings

Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) are held regularly. The parents and teachers interact to improve the skills of the students. The PTM’s are planned in such a way that parents have a chance of one to one interaction with the teachers after formative exams. This enables them to know about the weaknesses of their child, so that they make him/her work towards improvement in the subject required later. After the terminal summative exams another meeting is held to declare the results, where parents can discuss about the progress of the child. These meeting provide a platform where the teacher is able to know about each child so.

Transport

Transport facilities are made available to the students on the specified and predetermined routes. This facility is provided to avoid inconvenience to the parents. Teachers accompany children to safeguard them and check discipline in the bus. Transport charges are fimex on the basis of distance. Bus charges are paid along with the school free. Once a child avails of the transport facility he or she as to continue with it for full academic year.

Home-Work Day

Home work diary is compulsory for every student. It helps the parents to monitor their wards. It also acts as a communication link between the parents and teachers. The diary is to be checked and signed by parents after making sure that their ward has completed the home assignment, it contains full address of the child’s home, his/her parent’s specimen signatures, their place of work and the student’s blood group. It is an important documents.

Computer Lab

In the modern era computer has become an integral part of human life. Technique of using the computer are of utmost importance. An air conditioned and well-equipped computer lab in the nerve centre of computer education in the school to keep pace with the fast changing IT scenario. Computer education in provided to all the students. They receive computer training from well qualified teachers. A large number of systems enable children to practically do the programming individually which clears their concepts and they become confident in the practical applications.

Math Lab

Maths has always been considered a difficult subject by most of the students. Abstraction level of this subject keeps it in the vision to this subject NCERT has given a new concept of maths lab. A maths lab has been established in the school to replace old descriptive approach in favor of learning by doing. It helps not only in making the concepts clear but also makes the subject interesting. Students enjoy learning by doing and thus following the concepts easily.

Art Education Lab

Art education constitutes an important area of curricular activity for the development of the child and it goes on in a creative, productive and jovial manner. It encourages to develop creative expression and sharpens senses through keen observation of the environment. Art education lab is the lab of creative art activities like sculpture making, drawing and painting. In this lab, students portray their creativity and aesthetic sense. Interest developed in subject helps them in the main subject as they learn better ways to do their projects, make charts, models etc.
